This was the last real Jay-Z song, to me. I know there’s a guy still out there who calls himself, “Jay-Z,” but my Jay-Z went out on top with “The Black Album” and didn’t make an album with Linkin Park (remember that?) and he didn’t record that embarrassing “Kingdom Come” album and my Jay-Z and the Jay I choose to remember sit court side at Knicks games with Harry Caray glasses on.
